Animals Portfolio

Animals are not my strongest forte, I don’t see them often enough, but I try to capture their character and show them in their usual habitat when I can.  The squirrel hanging from the branch above my head was taken when I was sitting on a wall waiting for my husband and I happened to look up and see the squirrel on the branch.  It stopped dead, I placed my camera and then it became a competition to see who could stay absolutely still the longest. I got the shot I wanted but also a stiff neck as well as it was directly above me.
